An Integrative Therapeutic Approach Rooted in Person-centred and IFS Therapy
About Intuition Therapy
I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is troubling you. I work gently alongside you, helping you listen to your inner experience and reconnect with your innate intution – the inner knowing that can guide understanding and healing. Through this process you can connect with the different ‘parts’ of you that may be holding pain, fear, or overwhelm. We also nurture access to your ‘Self’ – the calm, compassionate, and wise core within you so that your parts can feel understood and supported. Together, we can build greater understanding and find ways to support positive change.
I am a Therapeutic Counsellor based in Oxton, Wirral, offering an integrative approach tailored to you as an individual.
As a Holistic Therapist, I also work with clients who experience acute and chronic stress-related conditions. I approach the whole person, addressing the emotional roots of physical symptoms and exploring the deep connection between mind and body. By combining somatic awareness with nervous system regulation, I support you in finding greater balance and well-being on all levels.
I am passionate about the transformative potential of Counselling. At the heart of my practice is a strong trusting relationship where we work together to help you feel more at ease, fulfilled and connected.
My Approach
My work is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). This means I see you as the expert in your own life and place great importance on empathy, acceptance, and feeling truly heard.
IFS understands that we all have different “parts” of ourselves shaped by our life experiences alongside a core ‘Self’ that is calm, compassionate, and capable of healing. Therapy is about getting to know these parts with curiosity and care, rather than judging or trying to change them.
I am a BACP-registered Person-Centred Counsellor, an IFS Therapist, and a SIRPA Practitioner, with a particular interest in how stress and trauma affect the nervous system and the body as well as the mind.
What I Offer
I offer talking therapy alongside body-based and somatic awareness where helpful. This can support a deeper understanding of emotional patterns, triggers, and the mind–body connection, helping you move towards greater balance and wellbeing.
Experience
I have experience working with young people, adults, and older adults in both private practice and charitable settings. I also bring over 30 years of personal experience in Gestalt therapy, which has strongly shaped my way of working with presence, awareness, and respect for the therapeutic relationship.
Having experienced the life-changing impact of therapy myself, I understand how important it is to feel safe, supported, and understood. Starting counselling can feel like a big step, but it can also be one of the most meaningful.
